People often ask me, "How do you feel (about the adoption trip)?" That is a tough question. I have great deal of mixed emotions related to this adventure that varies from day to day. Several days ago, I simply broke down and cried, feeling overwhelmed. But I was quickly reminded of a song by Side Walk Prophets called "The words I would say." As you read the chorus to this song, I hope you will find encouragement (for whatever struggle you are facing) as I did in God's truth:
"Be strong in the LORD and, Never give up hope, You're going to do great things, I already know, God's got His hand on you so, Don't live life in fear, Forgive and forget, But don't forget why you're here, Take your time and pray, Thank God for each day, His love will find a way, These are the words I would say,
From one simple life to another, I will say, Come find peace in the Father."
Praying for peace, Pa
We are definitely in the midst of very sacred moments as we prepare to welcome our new children into our families. I feel overwhelmed too but am so thankful for how God has led us thus far.
