Haven't posted for awhile, so thought i'd post a few pics and write a bit--AG's adjustment is still going very well. She is retaining her Chinese, and learning more English--last night at a traffic light, she said "STop" instead of sc-top, and I praised her, clapping, and turned and saw driver next to me, staring at me, wondering why I was clapping and cheering--he probably couldn't see AG!
AG had fun this season going to our 2 boys' volleyball games--at the last, a regional game, she had fun during timeouts, dancing on the floor with another 4 yo girl! So cute!
Tonight, J was playing piano, so AG was dancing, so I decided it was time for me to get out her dress up clothes I'd gotten at garage sales--so she was excited to put on a ballerina tutu and danced even more beautifully! I'll post a pic when its downloaded off camera! She loves her brothers and they reciprocate--after bath, before bed, she always goes downstairs to say goodnight to them. She loves her water play picnic table a friend handed down, and will play on back deck--cooking with the water and measuring cups.
In June, we hope to have her go to a mini 2 week preschool class at our church, where she will go to preschool in the fall--hopefully that will go well.
My 5 renegade friends--see earlier post--2 just arrived in China to get their daughters, and 3 more will be going to China in about 20 days to adopt their 2 daughters and 1 son--so exciting to see us all completing our journeys after so many months and years.
